Mars Hill earns a hard fought 3A battle over Houston Academy:

GDW Analysis:
BIRMINGHAM: Northwest Regional champions were denied victory Tuesday in the AHSAA Final Four in Class 1A and 2A.
Mars Hill Bible made sure the losing skid did not continue in playing Houston Academy in the 3A semi Tuesday at the BJCC.
Mars Hill was a victor 63 to 51. The game turned around to the Panthers' side when two technical fouls were charged against a Houston Academy player and their bench in the 3rd.
The Panthers went from a tight game to leading 46 to 37 when the 3rd ended.
Tate Barrier had a good stroke, hitting 4 of 5 treys and 4 of 4 from the line to lead the Panthers with 16.

 Regional MVP Sam Sweatt provided 14, Winn Crook scored 13, Brooks Campbell added 11 to give Mars Hill 4 double digit scorers, combing for 56 points.

 Mars Hill is now 20 & 5 after the victory. Houston Academy fell to 12 & 5.
Houston was ranked # 5 entering the Final Four, Mars Hill had the # 8 position.
