Vinemont series gets moved to Bill Shelton Field at Cullman HS:

GDW update on AHSAA baseball playoffs:
  A series of quarterfinal round games in the AHSAA baseball playoffs got interrupted Friday thanks to a line of severe weather during the afternoon period.
At Vinemont, Game 2 of the series with Vinemont and Winfield was suspended in the 3rd with the score tied 1 to 1.
Winfield won the opener 14 to 3.
The series has been moved to Cullman's Bill Shelton Field and will continue Saturday 6:00 p.m.
 
Elsewhere:
Pell City at Hartselle (6A) has been moved to Decatur High School. Doubleheader will be Saturday 5:00 p.m.
Lawrence County at Madison Academy (5A):
Series has been moved to Huntsville High School. Madison Academy leads the series 1 to 0.
Game 2 is Saturday 5:00 p.m. with Game 3 if needed, to be at 7:00 p.m.
Scottsboro at American Christian (5A): Rescheduled for Saturday 12:00 & 2:30 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.
Gardendale at Mountain Brook will continue Saturday 5:30 p.m. for Game 2. Game 3 if needed, will be at 7:30 p.m.
Gardendale leads the 6A series 1 to 0.
Addison Bulldogs played their quarterfinal series against Lynn on Thursday and swept their county rival 12 to 1 and 11 to 6.

 Addison now meets Hackleburg in the 1A semifinals next weekend. Hackleburg defeated South Lamar 6 to 1 and 1 to 0 on Friday in the town of Millport.
