Fairview and Good Hope playoff games to be on Thursday:

GDW Analysis:
Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) playoff football will be a day earlier in the quarterfinal round this week.
With a storm system to present plenty of rain for Friday, the two playoff games that will be in Cullman County, are now set to be on November 20.
Scottsboro at Fairview in Class 5A.
Plainview at Good Hope in Class 4A.
Both games will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
Scottsboro comes to Fairview for the first time at 8 wins & 4 losses. The Wildcats are the No. 1 seed from 5A, Region 8.
Fairview is 12 & 0, the best out of 5A, Region 7.
The Aggies are in the Elite Eight for the 2nd time since 2021.
Good Hope is playing its third undefeated opponent in its last four games of the current season.
Plainview will journey from the Rainsville area in Dekalb County to James Shabel Stadium with a 12 & 0 record.
The Bears claimed the regular season crown in 4A, Region 8.
Good Hope is 10 & 2 after upsetting West Morgan last week 31 to 7 in 2nd round play.
The Raiders finished 2nd in Region 5 at 6 & 1 to Hamilton.
Good Hope is 6 & 0 in games played on campus this season.
The Fairview game will be carried live on 92.1 FM.
