Vinemont (19 & 10)

This is a rematch of last year's title game as Holly Pond in 2025 went to Vinemont and upset the Lady Eagles.
Keys in this matchup will be how Holly Pond deals with Vinemont's steady scoring play from the backcourt of Reagan Robinson and Caroline Miller. The Lady Broncos will need a lot of points from the outside by PG Madison Butts and SG Maggie Nail.

How will Vinemont be able to contain Sadie Nail in the post after she produced 20 points in the semifinal vs. Locust Fork.
Class 3A Area 11 crosses over with Class 3A Area 10. Carbon Hill is at Winfield in the area title prior to the sub regional round later this week.

Mortimer Jordan's defeat of Jasper was a road game in the semifinal round, holding the Lady Vikings to 21 points.

Buckhorn is at Hazel Green for the area championship.

West Morgan at Good Hope in 4A Area 13:

Good Hope (24 & 6)
West Morgan (20 & 6)

Two teams come into championship play with very good records.
Good Hope got two victories over West Morgan in the regular season 48 to 37 on the road and 53 to 38 at home.
Balance is very much a solid item for the Lady Raiders with PG Ella Gossett handling the ball and setting up teammates such as Lexi Marshall at SG, Sophie Konrad at WF, Ella Davis at F and Lucie Adams at C.
The Lady Raiders are the defending area tournament champion and look for momentum of playing at Good Hope Gymnasium to continue for them in the current postseason setup.
Class 4A Area 13 crosses over with Area 9. Fultondale is at Dora for the area championship.
Russellville at West Point in 5A Area 15:
Monday 6:00 p.m.
West Point (25 & 1)
Russellville (18 & 11)

The Lady Warriors defeated the Golden Tigers 69 to 46 on the road and won a 66 to 49 shootout at West Point January 16.
The No. 4 team from 5A hoops utilizes its balance to break down the opposition.
The backcourt is divided between the Faulkner sisters, Jaelyn at PG and Camryn the SG.
Kealie Harbison has been raising her level as she tallied 12 of her 16 points in the 2nd period last week of a 65 to 29 victory vs. Locust Fork.
Laklin Shadix stands alone in solid play in the post with Caitlee Simmons and Patton Fell adding plenty on both ends of the floor from their spot as wing guards.
Class 5A Area 15 crosses over with Area 13. Boaz is at Sardis for the area championship.
Falkville at Cold Springs in 2A Area 11:
Tuesday 5:30 p.m.
Cold Springs (17 & 10)
Falkville (12 & 15)

Falkville defeated Winston Co 50 to 44 in the semifinal. Cold Springs had a bye.
Cold Springs will focus plenty of attention on Falkville guard Leah Pierce after she delivered 36 points to lead the Blue Devils to an upset in the semifinal with Winston Co.
Pierce was seen by GDW in a recent game for Falkville at Vinemont January 27. Pierce has sharp skills from the backcourt and was recognized of being selected to the recent Morgan County coaches' team.
Cold Springs will counter with Ella Dickerson for her ability to score from the perimeter and attack the defense too.
Others that coach Paige Adams will look for on being productive offensively will be G Paizley Whitlow, SG Aleah Addison and F Hollyn Bruer.
The Lady Eagles defeated Falkville twice in the regular season.
Falkville is led by former Cold Springs standout Bailey West Boland in her first season, coming to the Morgan County after coaching for several years at nearby Addison High School.
The Lady Eagles are the defending area champion.
Class 2A Area 11 crosses over in the sub region with Area 10. Red Bay will play at Sulligent in the area championship.
Area champions will host a sub regional playoff game on Friday with the winner from there to move on to the Northwest Regional at Wallace State February 17/24.
