Good Hope Lady Raiders earn return trip to Elite Eight:

HANCEVILLE: Eleven consecutive victories now have been produced by the Good Hope Lady Raiders after they lost January 9 at home to Madison Academy.
The latest to experience a team like effort from Good Hope was Dora Wednesday afternoon in the Northwest Regional semifinal in Class 4A.
It was business at hand for the Lady Raiders, a 68 to 53 defeat of the opponent from Walker County.
This game was well different than on January 2 when Good Hope rolled over Dora in a New Years' Day Classic presented by Wallace State 83 to 22.
Good Hope would get things going in having a 23 to 6 lead after the opening 8:00.
Justin Aby's team was hot in hitting 10 of 16 through the first period.
All starters for the Lady Raiders were in the scoring status. Sophie Konrad delivered 6 in the 1st with 5 from SGs Lexi Marshall and Ava McSwain.
Dora shot much better in the 2nd, making 7 of 11 for 63 percent. The Lady Bulldogs managed to narrow the margin to 12 at halftime, 39 to 27.
McSwain was the spotlight in the 3rd with 9 points on 4 FGs, one trey. A 17 point lead was back in order for Good Hope when time ran out at 52 to 35.

 McSwain netted 22 in this game for the Lady Raiders with 11 consecutive wins and 25 on the season in 30 games.
Ella Gossett scored 14, getting 8 in the final period.
Marshall tallied 12, Konrad had 8, Adams 7 and McHan 5.
Good Hope shot 50 percent from the field, 27 of 54. They hit 9 of 22 treys for 40 percent.
McHan led the rebounders with 9, Gossett had 7 assists, 5 for Marshall.
Bella Resse ended her junior season for Dora with a game high 27 on 10 of 22 FGs, 5 of 6 Fts, 6 rebounds.
Her teammate Jalaya Harris had 19 thanks to 8 of 19 shooting, 5 rebounds.

Up next for Good Hope: Regional championship vs. Deshler/Cordova winner Monday TBA.
