Good Hope showed its quality of play Monday evening in team concept to stay undefeated after 4 games on the new season. Sophie Konrad was the catalyst in the 1st half as she hit for 16 points. Konrad watched her teammates divide the scoring in the final half with Ella Gossett, Ella Davis, Lexi Marshall and Lucie Adams combine for 24 points in winning this game by a margin of 29 points. The two went after one another early as the game was tied 3 times before Good Hope went ahead at 10 to 8 and never trailed from that point. It was 13 to 9 for Justin Aby's Lady Raiders going into the 2nd. Konrad found her stroke in the 2nd as she tallied a trey and three FGs to end the half with 16 points. Konrad was superior as she had more than the entire opening half by Fairview's group. A 30 to 15 lead was built by the visitors at the break. In the 3rd, Gossett netted 7 with Mitchell scoring twice as a 16 to 3 run enabled Good Hope to lead 46 to 18. The Lady Raiders shut down Fairview's attack, yielding a FG from Kailyn Redding in the 3rd. Top scorer Whitney Quick could not add to her 10 points through halftime in being held off the scoring column. Adams nailed back to back treys that put Good Hope ahead by more than 30 points in which the hot clock went to work in the final period. Konrad's 16 paced a balance attack for the Lady Raiders. Konrad was coming off scoring 15 in a 42 to 35 victory Saturday against Madison Academy at Randolph School in Huntsville. Adams scored a dozen, Gossett 9, Davis 8, Marshall 7 and Abby Richter 2. Good Hope outscored Fairview in FGs 20 to 8, 8 to 2 in the final half. Fairview was led by Quick with 10, Darby Nichols 4, Kelsi Redding 3, Maci Gregory, Kailyn Redding and Mali Gregory 2.
