West Point Lady Warriors knock off Cold Springs in county play:

GDW Analysis:
  HANCEVILLE: Another weapon for the West Point Lady Warriors was seen Tuesday from the Cullman County Tournament in a quarterfinal battle against the Cold Springs Lady Eagles.
Junior shooting guard Patton Fell pulled the trigger by scoring 18 points to top her squad in a 71 to 46 victory.
West Point has won 6 in a row and is averaging around 73 points a game for the month of January.
West Point turned a 12 to 9 lead early into a 24 to 10 advantage after time ran out in the first.
They led 41 to 18 at the half.
Both teams played to an equal 3rd period with each scoring 17. West Point was ahead 58 to 35 and would get above the 70 point total with Fell's third trey of the night in the final minute.
Fell hit three from long distance, added 2 FGs and was 5 of 8 from the line. She was selected the Gameday Weekly player of the game.
Camryn Faulkner finished with 17, Jaelyn Faulkner 15, Laklin Shadix 9 and 8 rebounds, Caitlee Simmons and Kealie Harbison 6 each.

 John Welborn's team has 19 wins against 4 losses and is 5th in the 5A state poll.
Hollyn Bruer had 11 on 3 treys and a FG. Bruer had the most in long range shots for the Lady Eagles with 3.

 Cold Springs was only able to score 5 times from long distance with West Point hitting 8, 6 coming during the first half.
Ella Dickerson got 10, Kenady Graves added 8. 

  The Lady Eagles fell to 14 & 8 for the season.
Hollyn Bruer scored 3 times from 3 point shooting and finished with 9.
West Point now meets No. 2 seed Vinemont in semifinal play from Tom Drake Coliseum Thursday 7:30 p.m.
