GDW Analysis of the Cullman County semis:

G # 1 Friday 6:15 p.m. on WKUL FM (92.1)
1 West Point vs. 4 Holly Pond:
West Point is playing for the first time in a week after the Warriors lost last Friday to Russellville in area play 68 to 65,
Holly Pond fought off another tough challenge by Hanceville Monday night in the tournament, closing out on a 15 to 2 run for a 53 to 44 triumph.
Carson Ryan carried the Broncos on his shoulders scoring wise with 16. He tied the game late and then sent them ahead with a driving layup.
Sawyer Olinger and Ty Dunn provided 12 apiece. Center Cade Allbright was stout with a game high 18 rebounds.
West Point defeated Holly Pond 74 to 42 at Dwayne Adams' Court/Felton Easterwood Gym November 15. The game was tight until West Point broke it open with 27 points on its side of the scoreboard in the final period.
The Warriors will look to get solid production from its regular top two scorers, guard Jay Lamar and forward Maddox Chapman.
In their last game, a 20 point outing from center Jaxson Shelton was valuable and 13 by PG Kade Vincent.
The Warriors have balance and could make it difficult for a Bronco upset if they fine tune their attack after having a week to think about a win that eluded them at home with Russellville.
