GDW Analysis:
Winning was not accomplished by two local teams Saturday playing at Wallace State CC.
Holly Pond connected on just two treys to open the contest with Priceville. Getting down 17 to 6, the Lady Broncos tallied 6 FGs in the 2nd and had made 5 treys by halftime.
However, they were unable to slow up Priceville center Abby Langlois.
Langlois ended the half with 9 and scored 10 in the final half to complete a 19 point performance.
In three games vs. Cullman County schools, Langlois has scored 64 points, an average of 21 points a game.

She started the week pouring in 31 in a 64 to 45 victory at Vinemont.
A bright spot for Holly Pond was Thomas.
Thomas just had reached the 1,000 point mark in her career earlier in the week in an area victory at Hanceville.
The senior was honored on Friday night following Holly Pond's game vs. Vinemont.

Cullman saw the opportunity of victory against Florence that had been a winner in just two out of 13 assignments, go awry Saturday afternoon.
The Lady 'Cats could not develop consistency at the free throw line, missing 14 out of 21 tries.
They were 4 of 14 in the opening half as they managed to overcome the issue and leave the floor for their halftime break tied with Florence at 26 to 26.
The third period was very good for Tammy West's Lady 'Cats. They converted 8 FGs, four in the paint by Wilson to grab the lead at 46 to 44.
But in the 4th, Florence had a quick start and took advantage of Cullman missing good shooting situations.
Down 54 to 48 late, Cullman used two FGs from Dorough to close to 53 to 52.
But Florence completed the upset making four from the line in the closing seconds.
Florence was 8 of 14 on the afternoon at the stripe in comparison to Cullman connecting on just 7 of 21.
