Good Hope, CCS celebrate a win to advance to Monday's title games:

Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) was busy Friday with semifinal games in the girls' area playoff schedule.
Class 4A Area 13:
Good Hope 66, Danville 35: Lady Raiders romped over Danville to go to 24 & 6 on the season.
Lady Raiders will play West Morgan for the area title Monday at Good Hope 6:00 p.m. West Morgan defeated East Lawrence 44 to 33 in the other semifinal.
Class 1A Area 14:
Cullman Christian 55, Addison 32: History was made by the Cullman Christian Lady Lions Friday at Meek HS in their first ever area playoff victory in their 2nd year as a member of the AHSAA.
The Lady Lions are 11 & 10 on the season as they defeated Addison three times in the current season.
Cullman Christian is in the championship game to be at Meek HS Monday at 5:00 p.m.
Class 6A, Area 13:
Mortimer Jordan was a 43 to 21 winner Friday in a semifinal game against Jasper.
The win sends Mortimer Jordan to Bearcat Arena for the championship Monday against Cullman at 6:00 p.m. Cullman had a bye for being the regular season winner of the area at 3 & 1. Cullman is 21 & 7 in its first season with coach Tammy West.
Class 5A, Area 15:
Russellville defeated Lawrence County 79 to 52 in a semifinal game Friday in Russellville.
This sends the Golden Tigers to the championship Monday at Jim Boyd Gymnasium against the West Point Lady Warriors at 6:00 p.m.
West Point had a bye from the semifinal round for the Lady Warriors were 4 & 0 in their area schedule.
The Lady Warriors bring a 25 game winning streak into the title game and are 7 & 0 at home.
