AHSAA takes care of this task 5 days after spring sports ends:

MONTGOMERY: Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) completed its task of reclassification of spring sports for the next two years on Thursday.
This ends the reclassification procedure that started in January with the fall sports, the winter sports in March and now the spring sports.
Gameday Weekly is reporting on the reclassification of the spring sports for the 10 schools covered by the sports website regularly.

Cold Springs in 2A, Area 11 with Falkville, Sumiton Christian and Winston Co.
Hanceville, Holly Pond and Vinemont in 3A, Area 12 with Locust Fork and JB Pennington.
Good Hope in 4A, Area 13 with Danville, East Lawrence and West Morgan.
West Point in 5A, Area 14 with Lawrence Co, Priceville and Russellville.
