CCBOE reports new principal at Good Hope High School:

Jennings now at Good Hope in replacing the retired Scott Brown:

Cullman County Board of Education (CCBOE) announced Thursday Jyme Jennings is the new principal at Good Hope High School.
Jennings is taking the lead position after Scott Brown announced he is retiring following 28 years in the county school system.
Jennings has been serving as an assistant principal at Cold Springs High School. She has 24 years being associated with the CCBOE from a teacher and coach at Fairview, then to Cold Springs and onward to Good Hope. 

 "I am passionate about high-quality classroom instruction, athletics, and fostering student involvement in school activities, and I believe that every student should feel connected and engaged," said Jennings.

 "I look forward to the future of Good Hope High School and am proud to be part of such a strong and supportive community. "
Jennings will see changes in the Raiders' athletic program with Griffin Morris now the basketball coach and Elizabeth Taylor to serve as athletic director.
Good Hope athletics has been on a stage of consistency, winning Cullman County championships in 2024/25 in volleyball, girls basketball, basketball and softball.
Girls basketball was 2nd in Class 4A after they won the state championship the year before.

 Football, baseball and softball earned berths to the AHSAA postseason.

 Jennings will officially begin her new position on July 1st.
