Cold Springs Eagles enter the 2026 Cullman County basketball tournament as the No. 1 seed based on a 6 & 0 record against county opposition.
The pairings were set Wednesday during a meeting inside the CCBOE conference room.
The county tournament will be held January 19/24 from Tom Drake Coliseum at Wallace State CC.
Varsity:
1. Cold Springs 6 & 0, 2. West Point 4 & 2, 3. Fairview 3 & 3, Holly Pond 3 & 3, 5. Vinemont 2 & 3, 6. Good Hope 1 & 4, 7. Hanceville 1 & 5.
Good Hope and Vinemont will play Monday at Vinemont to close out the 6 game schedule that is mandatory prior to the tournament.
A 3 way tie is possible if Vinemont beats Good Hope as the Eagles would be 3 & 3 with Fairview and Holly Pond. Tiebreaking procedures would apply in a meeting with CCBOE athletic director Alan Dunkling Tuesday morning.

3 seed vs. 6 seed (GH) Tuesday 5:45 p.m.
2 seed (WP) vs. 7 seed (HV) Tuesday 8:30 p.m.
1 seed (CS) vs. 4 or 5 seed Friday 7:15 p.m.
2 or 7 seed vs. 3 or 6 seed Friday 8:30 p.m.
Championship game January 24 at 6:30 p.m.
All high school games will be live on WKUL FM (92.1).
