BIRMINGHAM: Cullman Bearcats' lovely journey in the AHSAA 6A basketball playoffs continues on Saturday after an incredible comeback over Calera in OT Wednesday from Legacy Arena.
A 12 point deficit to begin the 4th was taken care of in which Cullman would outscore Calera 31 to 14 in the game's final 12 minutes and turn a loss into a 61 to 56 thriller.

"This was an amazing game," Cullman coach Stu Stuedeman said afterwards. "This was great for 6A basketball. We never gave up believing."

After trailing 22 to 20 at the half, the 3rd was rough for Cullman. Bearcats were outscored 20 to 10 by Calera. The Bearcats went down 42 to 30 as the period ended on a 3 pointer by Emory Bonds.
