Three girls teams now with double digit victories 1 month into season:

GDW Analysis:
Holly Pond Lady Broncos 50 to 19 victory Friday at JB Pennington makes them the third local girls team to achieve double digit wins a month into the 2024/25 season.
Holly Pond is 10 & 3 and leads 3A, Area 13 with a 2 & 0 record.
The Lady Broncos accomplish the task while earlier in the week, West Point and Good Hope excelled in good play.
West Point's 10th win was a 66 to 36 rout at Brewer Monday. The Lady Warriors open 5A, Area 15 play Thursday in Moulton crushing Lawrence County 70 to 29.
Good Hope has a 10 game winning streak with a 62 to 34 defeat of East Lawrence Thursday getting the Lady Raiders started on the right foot in 4A, Area 13.
The three have combined for 31 wins and just 6 losses. Good Hope is 10 & 1, West Point 11 & 2 and Holly Pond 10 & 3.
In other prep girls news:
Cold Springs vs. East Lawrence was postponed Friday with no public reason being reported.
The game was to be at the 1 year old facility on the Cold Springs campus.
Good Hope's next challenge will be a challenge in facing 2A power Decatur Heritage Saturday in the DHCA Classic. Tip time is 6:00 p.m.
Heritage is 10 & 3 on the season and with a victory in the 1st week at Bearcat Arena over Cullman 58 to 43.
Cullman is on the road for an afternoon game at Madison Academy.
The Lady 'Cats have 9 wins against 6 losses in looking to bounce back from a 60 to 55 loss Tuesday at Priceville.
Madison Academy claimed a 48 to 41 OT victory against Jessica McBrayer's Lady 'Cats November 9.
