Good Hope's 7 on 7 draws plenty, including Gameday Weekly:

Eight teams battle the heat & each other in 7 on 7 competition:

GDW Analysis:
GOOD HOPE: Half of the participants in a 7 on 7 passing camp hosted by Good Hope High School Tuesday morning are regularly covered by Gameday Weekly.
The Good Hope Raiders were joined locally by the Cold Springs Eagles, Hanceville Bulldogs and Vinemont Eagles.
Completing the field were the Addison Bulldogs, Danville Hawks, Southeastern Mustangs and Brookwood Panthers.
Seven on seven is pure passing as teams work on executing while having possession and defending when the opponent takes the ball.
The competition field is 40 yards. Teams must advance the ball in three snaps from the 40 to 25, the 25 to 10 and then 10 to end zone.
Set up by Good Hope coach Alan Scott, the games were played in approximately 30 minutes. A short break would follow as teams would move from one location to another.
The games took place from James Shabel Stadium and the Raiders' practice field, located to the West side of the stadium.

 Breakdown:
Of the locals involved, Good Hope would be the team that airs it out more than the others.
Cold Springs, Hanceville and Vinemont display the run as the strength of their offense.
Brendan Voce at Cold Springs, Levi Estes at Hanceville and Stephen Robinson of Vinemont do understand passing is needed when situations become critical in a game.
For Scott and his Raiders, Parker Johnson is now the signal caller after Tyler Cone graduated.
Johnson is left handed and showed good touch on his passes seen by GDW Tuesday morning.
An experienced Hunter Black means plenty for Hanceville. His savvy in the lead role carries plenty for the Bulldogs to start better in 2025 than they  did a season ago.
Ethan Day provides Cold Springs leadership and experience. Day worked well on deep, sideline throws in his assignment against Brookwood to open the agenda for the Eagles.
Vinemont has Rush Sandlin to direct the Eagles' gameplan. Sandlin is a combo of running ability and looking to provide moving the ball downfield through the passing game.
New Addison coach Mark Hastings is pleased of having a QB with experience and for sure, size.
Elijah Roberts was running the Bulldogs when they took on Brookwood in the 3rd segment of the camp.

Roberts is 6'2" as he presents the new coach a mixture in the run and the throw.

The eight teams handled humid conditions with the heat index in the mid 90s around 10:00 a.m.

By lunch, the passing camp was into the books. Each of the coaching staffs would get together at a later time and discuss what they witnessed from the home of the Good Hope Raiders July 15.
For Cold Springs, Good Hope, Hanceville and Vinemont, these teams will engage a different group of people on Monday.

The annual Cullman County media day that will be held in the conference room of the CCBOE building.
Each school will bring at least two to three people as the new football season in the AHSAA is moving closer from day to day.
