Local athletes ready to participate in AHSAA All Star events:

Six standouts to represent the Cullman area in Montgomery:

GDW Analysis:
  MONTGOMERY: Things are ready to go for the 29th Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) All Star Sports Week.
The event held in the Capitol City, presents all star competition in baseball, basketball, softball, golf, volleyball, tennis and cross country. Athletes entering their senior year engage this opportunity for their hard work in their respective sport.
Athletes from Cold Springs, Cullman, Vinemont and West Point will present the local area in cross country, golf, girls basketball and girls tennis.
This is the schedule for each local athlete and their event at All Star Sports Week.
Girls golf:
  Charlie Aris of West Point on the North team. The golf match is Monday at 9:00 a.m. from Arrowhead Country Club.
Girls cross country:
  Paizley Whitlow of Cold Springs will run for the North all stars. The run is Tuesday 8:00 a.m. from Gateway Park.
Cross country:
  Holly Pond standout Travis Bennett takes part in the run for the North. The event will begin Tuesday 8:30 a.m. from Gateway Park.
Girls basketball:
  Vinemont PG Reagan Robinson, West Point PG Jaelyn Faulkner were selected to play for the North. The game is Tuesday 5:00 p.m. from the Cramton Bowl Multiplex.
Girls tennis:
  Cullman senior Allie Krigbaum is part of the North all star squad. The match vs. the South will be Tuesday 5:00 p.m. from the Lagoon Park Complex.

 Also:
Other athletes Gameday Weekly has seen from nearby our area will be part of All Star Week.
Volleyball: Abby Langlois of Priceville to play for the North. VB is Thursday 2:00 p.m. from the Cramton Bowl Multiplex.
Basketball: Tucker Hyatt and Josh Martin of Hayden is on the North roster. The North meet the South Tuesday 6:45 p.m. from the Cramton Bowl Multiplex.
Baseball: Hartselle P/IF Cole Miles takes part in the mid summer classic Monday. Doubleheader at Riverwalk Stadium with Game 1 at 4:00 p.m.
