Local prep basketball weathering the winter storm:

Hopefully the local hoops will resume with games on Monday:

GDW Analysis:
Local prep basketball had to undergo Friday evening off from the winter storm that presented traveling issues throughout Cullman County.
Several games were moved to Thursday evening.
Cold Springs, Good Hope, Fairview, Hanceville and Vinemont were able to take to the hardwood with everyone in area play except for Good Hope, facing a pair of good squads from Madison Academy at home.
Cullman, Holly Pond, West Point did not play on January 9. Games for them on Friday were postponed and either rescheduled or will not be played.
Monday schedule:
Cold Springs at Cordova 5:30/7:00
St. Bernard at Cullman Christian 5:00/6:30
Tuesday schedule:

 Hanceville at Locust Fork 5:00/6:30
Meek at St. Bernard 5:30/7:00
Cullman at Hartselle 6:00/7:30 (98.3 FM)
Gadsden City at Fairview 6:00/7:30
Vinemont at Holly Pond 6:30/7:45
