March Madness has gone mad according to Flash:
The NCAA has the spotlight for those who adore basketball so much:

Flash Thoughts:
Basketball is still a hot topic now that the NCAA tournament gets started with plenty of "March Madness" awaiting those who find the sport very appealing.
Two weeks of March Madness has moved rapidly and much more is on its way.
For yours truly, the sport that has such a warm place in his heart, has been awarding from his role of broadcasting for WKUL FM and reporting for Gameday Weekly.
We sent three teams to championship play in the AHSAA, the most from a recent period of time.
Good Hope's 2nd state championship in 4A girls in 3 years huge as well as Cold Springs' Lady Eagles in their 5th Final Four since 2019 and the Cullman Bearcats making a sound run to play for the best in 6A after they won it back in 2022.
Then we salute the hard work from the sidelines by Justin Aby of Good Hope girls, Paige Adams of Cold Springs girls and Stu Stuedeman of Cullman for carrying the local banner to Birmingham for the first week of this month.
Add Cullman's Tammy West as she served in a common role for her being the administrative coach for the Alabama all stars last weekend in their annual battle vs. the state of Mississippi. Alabama has won 9 consecutive meetings and has 22 wins all time in this year 36 year history.
Now we go in depth to the collegiate scene.
At 28 & 2, the Wallace State Lady Lions did not get an invitation to the NJCAA nationals after they were upset in the conference semifinals last weekend by Lawson State.
This was a team Wallace State drubbed in the final regular season game February 5 by the score of 89 to 63. The Lady Lions picked a bad time to be off on their performance in losing to Lawson 54 to 51 and a great season ends with no true reward except for they did win at Shelton State and shared the regular season division title with the eventual ACCC winner.
Former Wallace State Lady Lions' coach Allen Sharpe has done well now leading the University of Alabama Huntsville Lady Chargers.
In his 2nd season in the Rocket City, Sharpe has led UAH to a 31 & 5 record, a first time venture to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Division II playoffs.
UAH won the South Regional Monday night at Spragins Hall beating Eckerd College from Florida 66 to 46.
Ex Good Hope Lady Raider Ivey Maddox is enjoying her sophomore season after she struggled in certain roles as a collegiate freshman.
Maddox was named to the South Regional all tournament and delivered in a big time way in their 73 to 70 semifinal win against Nova Southeastern scoring 17 points, hitting 5 shots from 3 point land.
Another former Good Hope standout, Ava McSwain gets credit too even though her freshman season ended with a knee injury early in January when UAH started off strong in the Gulf South Conference.
McSwain had been named the Freshman of the week by the GSC twice in the first half of their schedule. She was showing a lot of positive and is now working on getting back to full health to return to the floor next year as a sophomore.
Adding to the Madness by yours truly, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers.
If you win in a consistent way Nate Oats at Alabama, you may have been given a slightly higher seed and not put in the Midwest Regional of the NCAA tournament.
Also, the fact that you are having to work through a process of re-developing your lineup following a very poor case of actions from 2nd leading scorer Aden Hollaway in getting arrested Monday and being charged with felony possession of marijuana and other possessions.
His behavior can cost the Tide a great chance of a strong NCAA run as many felt they are capable off.
And for Bruce Pearl to be "well overspoken" about how Auburn fizzled late in the season and 17 & 16 overall was not good enough to send them to the NCAA, missing this event for the first time in 5 years.
Pearl is an Auburn spokesperson now after he stepped down last summer and the Tigers handed the reign to his son Steven.
Then the NIT going bonkers in putting the Auburn vs. South Alabama Tuesday from Neville Arena at a 9:00 p.m. starting time for the sake of cable television and it's not the mainstay of ESPN.
Back to Bruce Pearl, Flash admires him for what he accomplished in his time with Auburn, but what was reported after the Tigers lost in the SEC 2nd round to Tennessee was out of character.
And also for Pearl who thinks he is as good of analyzing the game like Dick Vitale, Jay Bilas, Clark Kellog, Seth Davis, he is well behind these well established personnel.
Bruce is a college basketball wannabe version of Nick Saban.
His madness adds to the 2026 edition of collegiate March Madness.
Enough said.
