One week of football for October is now into the memory bank.
In returning to the regional part of the schedule, October 3 was rewarding for Cold Springs, Fairview, Good Hope and Vinemont.
It went off course for Cullman, Hanceville, Holly Pond and West Point.
Looking back from October 3 games:
Cold Springs: 28 to 0 win over West End
Fairview: 35 to 28 win over Russellville.
Good Hope: 48 to 8 win over Curry
Vinemont: 78 to 42 win over Hanceville
Cullman: Lost 24 to 0 to Hartselle
Holly Pond: Lost 28 to 6 to Whitesburg Christian
West Point: Lost 26 to 0 to Priceville.

For the Cullman Bearcats:
Friday vs. Columbia at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville 7:00.
Columbia is currently at 97 consecutive losses.
Cullman is 1 & 6, having its worst season since 2018 when the Bearcats finished 3 & 7.
For the Hanceville Bulldogs:
Friday at Midfield 7:00.
Bulldogs are currently in a 12 game losing streak.
Hanceville has not won for Levi Estes since September 13 of 2024 when the Bulldogs shut out Carbon Hill 24 to 0.
