GDW Analysis:
ATLANTA: Southeastern Conference's football media days 2025 is now in the record books.
The finale of four days of hotly contested conversation between the media and the conference teams wrapped up Thursday with Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas A&M expressing thoughts of what they are hoping for in the 2025 season.
Missouri had the best credentials for Day 4 with 10 wins and victory in their final 3 games.
Arkansas and Texas A&M provided success last year with winning campaigns. Kentucky underachieved in gaining only 4 wins in the 12 game schedule.
Missouri Tigers:
10 & 3, 5 & 3 in SEC 2024
Coach Eli Drinkwitz
"We got three quarterbacks, all a little bit different, all with some very good strengths.

Obviously Sam Horn is a guy who has been in our system for a long time. Dual-threat player, plays baseball at a high level. Coming back from Tommy Johns surgery. Had an outstanding bowl prep, really good spring. Has really excelled in his maturation.

One thing most people don't know about Sam, he's a type one diabetic. Since he's been in college, he's learned to adapt, train, develop, adjust. He's really done a lot of good things. Understands the system."

Arkansas Razorbacks:
7 & 6, 3 & 5 in SEC 2024

 Coach Sam Pittman:
I feel like they do. I feel like the Texas game last year it was a very passionate, very loud football game. Obviously we lost 20-10 this year. But I believe it is reviving the Texas-Arkansas rivalry. We're 1-1 in that going down to Texas. Tough place to play. Great football team.

But we'll be looking forward to going down there. I'm sure they'll be looking forward to getting us down there. We have not played down there in those two games. We played at home. I believe if you ask our fan base and from the feel of the stadium when we play the University of Texas, I believe that it's one of our rivals, if not number one."

Arkansas season opener vs. Alabama A&M August 30
SEC opener at Ole Miss September 13

 Kentucky Wildcats:
 4 & 8, 1 & 7 in SEC 2024
 Coach Mark Stoops:
"I'm excited about this group. I really love the way they're working. I know everybody says that. I wouldn't be any different. I can promise you we analyzed a lot of things and we're intentional about the development of this team, trying to expediate that process, force feed the relationships, making sure they've bought in. They're fun. They've got experience. We've got to fit the pieces together, we know that. We have a lot of work to do. But again, I'm very excited about the staff and how hard they've worked. Good to get rolling."
