West Point romps on the road, Cullman gets a low scoring victory:

GDW Analysis:
Winning on the hardwood Friday evening with local basketball teams was limited.
In matchups of local vs. non local programs, only two went through the process of being victorious.
West Point 62, Priceville 35:
Cullman County tournament champion West Point invaded Morgan County January 30 and extended its current winning streak to 6 games.
The Warriors were coming off a hard fought 61 to 58 victory Thursday evening against East Lawrence.
Priceville was not able to slow down the Warriors who are now 21 & 7 on the season.
Cullman 52, Hartselle 48:
A low scoring victory was earned by the Bearcats against their arch rival at Bearcat Arena.
Cullman is now 20 & 5 in avenging a 57 to 50 loss to Hartselle December 5 on the road.
The Bearcats' 5 losses have come in which they have had low tallies on the scoreboard. Cullman had lost the week before to Jasper at Bearcat Arena 56 to 54.
Cullman is only 4 & 3 in the month of January. Hartselle suffered its 3rd consecutive defeat and fell to 13 & 14 on the season.
East Lawrence 53, Vinemont 47:
A late season slump has hit the Eagles.
Vinemont dropped to 16 & 11 overall, suffering its 3rd loss in the last 4 games.
The Eagles struggled scoring the night before at home and fell to Arab 42 to 38.
In their last three losses, the Eagles have averaged 41 points per outing and allowed the opposition to score an average of 51 points against them.
East Lawrence 54, Vinemont 52 (G):
Vinemont Lady Eagles could not finish off the week with three consecutive victories.
East Lawrence slowed up the No. 5 team in the 3A state poll Friday evening and swept the season series from the team.
Vinemont has an 18 & 10 record heading into the end of the regular season schedule Monday with a trip to Blount County to play the Appalachian Lady Eagles.
Hartselle 42, Cullman 38 (G):
The theme of the first year of Cullman vs. Hartselle with Tammy West now coaching the Lady Bearcats is the road team gets the best of the home squad.
Hartselle was able to neutralize the Cullman attack at Bearcat Arena and even the score at 1 to 1 this season.
Cullman took down the Lady Tigers in Hartselle 56 to 46 on December 5.
The loss dropped the Lady 'Cats to 20 & 7, 6 & 2 in games played on the CHS campus.
Hartselle improved to 16 & 5 and has gone 5 & 1 during the month of January.
