No. 2 seed shakes off slow start to romp on to the semifinals:

Vinemont: Reagan Robinson 28, Caroline Miller 13, Addison Holcomb 1, Vayda Yarbrough 8, Arleigh Thomason 9, Haley Millwood 5, Jadyn Knott 2.
Hanceville: Piper Butts 9, Alex Twitty 7, Kerrigon Moore 7, Kynlee Farr 4, Mattie Keith 6.
GDW player of the game - Reagan Robinson of Vinemont 28 points, 14 FGs, 8 rebounds, 6 assists.
Vinemont overcame Hanceville's first period lead by using Robinson as the catalyst in the 2nd in a 25 to 6 run and a 36 to 20 halftime lead.

 The Lady Eagles had good scoring in the 2nd half team wise with a 19 to 4 run in the final 8:00 to break the game open as they had done 10 days earlier at Lane Horton Gymnasium against the Lady Bulldogs.
Vinemont has won 5 of its last 6 assignments moving on to the semifinal round.

GDW player of the game - Mallory Hartline of Holly Pond, 14 points, 2 FGs, 1 trey, 9 FTs, 6 rebounds, 1 assist.
A 2nd consecutive upset by the 5th seed Lady Broncos with only five players available got the day started Monday in fashion of an upset.
Leading 16 to 7, Holly Pond withstood a Fairview rally as Cruce scored 13 of her 17 in the final 14:00.
Hartline made it count with 9 FTs out of 16 attempts.
Allbright was huge in pulling down 15 rebounds with Mayfield handing out 4 assiss.

GDW player of the game - Zoe Miller of Cold Springs 11 points, 5 FGs, 1 trey, 4 rebounds.
Cold Springs was out to a fast start in outscoring Good Hope 16 to 7 in the first period. That would be the difference for the Lady Eagles to claim victory and advance to the championship round.
Ellis was 4 of 4 from the line and hit one trey, two days after she scored a career high 35 in a one sided win against Hanceville. She displayed the ball to her teammates with four assists leading to 8 points on key possessions.
