West Point golfer claims AGA state championship:

Sutter shoots 4 under par 68 in the final round to claim victory:

GDW Analysis:
GLENCOE: West Point's very talented Bailey Sutter stood out in the final round of the Alabama Golf Association (AGA) Junior state championship Thursday from Silver Lakes Course.
Sutter completed the final round with a 4 under par 68 and would finish the three day event at 210, taking home top honors.
The West Point linkster was four shots better than runner up Gus Darnall. Darnell, from Birmingham, had a 214, completing the last round at 1 over par 73.
Sutter came into the final round sharing the lead with Mobile golfer
Thomas Crane, Sutter went to work as he would convert 6 birdies to get sole possession of the lead and complete the tournament four under the par score for the well known course in Etowah County.
Sutter went from even par 72 in the opening round to 2 under 70 in the middle round, prior to his 4 under 68 on Thursday.
Crane earned third place, getting a 217 for the event, shooting a final round of 3 over par 75.

 Cullman's Will Drake claimed 4th place a shot behind Crane at 218, His final round was an even par 72.
Sutter will now represent the AGA in the US Junior Amateur Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan July 22-27.
