West Point Lady Warriors overcame a slow start with a dominating 27 to 13 edge in the 2nd period as they made 10 FGs, 5 from 3 three point range.
The Lady Warriors maintained a double digit advantage for the rest of the evening.

The 27 to 13 surge by West Point in the 2nd was the difference for the Lady Warriors to win their 8th in a row after starting the season losing to Ider in a game at Snead State Community College.
It was the other way for West Point, The Warriors unloaded 7 FGs, three treys to soar ahead of Vinemont 20 to 7 when the first ended.
A 38 to 13 lead at halftime was due to 15 FGs scored by Mason Voce's Warriors, 5 from downtown.
Vinemont regrouped and went from being down 43 to 16 in the 3rd to 47 to 32 when time ran out in the stanza.
A 19 to 9 run from James Brown's Eagles was thanks to four treys and 7 FGs in the 3rd while the Warriors scored 4 times and once from long range.
In the 4th, Maddox Chapman took control with a 10 point stanza as he anchored the victory with 26 to see a 2 game losing streak be laid aside.
The Warriors stopped the Eagles momentum of a 2 game winning streak and victory in 3 of their last 4 assignments in Brown's first year at Vinemont.
