What's on tap Thursday for local volleyball
Teams prepping before the county tournament comes next week:

GDW Analysis:
On Wednesday, the county volleyball teams set up their pairings for the Cullman County tournament that will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of next week from Vinemont.
For the programs, this Thursday will serve notice as a chance to prep for the upcoming event.
The schedule for September 25:
Hanceville at Vinemont 4:00
Falkville vs. Hanceville at Vinemont 5:00
Falkville at Vinemont 6:00
Holly Pond at Fairview 4:00
Holly Pond vs. Brindlee Mtn at Fairview 5:00
Brindlee Mtn at Fairview 6:00
East Lawrence at Good Hope 4:30
Curry at Good Hope 6:30
Cold Springs at Winston Co 5:30
Cullman Christian at Meek 4:00
Cullman Christian vs. Lynn at Meek 5:00
Mortimer Jordan at Cullman 5:30
Vinemont is out to finish 7 & 1 in AHSAA 3A, Area 11 with a victory vs. Hanceville. That would put them in a first place tie with Holly Pond.
Holly Pond and Fairview will play to see which team will be the 4th seed and 5th seed for the county tournament.
Both are 2 & 3 in county play.
4A, Area 13 for Good Hope against East Lawrence as the Lady Raiders are 1 & 1 in their area.
Cold Springs is playing at Winston Co in 2A, Area 11. Lady Eagles picked up an area victory Tuesday against Falkville.
Cullman Christian goes to Arley for 1A, Area 13 vs. Meek.
Cullman has Mortimer Jordan visiting Bearcat Arena for 6A, Area 13 play.
The county tournament will consume the county schools next week as three quarterfinals will be on the 29th, two semifinals on the 30th and the championship from Vinemont Gymnasium October 2 at 6:30 p.m.
One week of the regular season schedule remains before postseason play starts the week of October 13 with area tournaments at locations to be determined.
GDW has Holly Pond with a 23 & 8 record, the best of the county schools., Vinemont is reporting in at 21 & 13, Good Hope 19 & 13, West Point 18 & 9, Fairview 16 & 12, Hanceville unknown and Cold Springs 2 & 18.
