GDW Analysis:
Cold Springs' experience against a young Falkville lineup that started a freshman and 4 sophomores, served notice with a 10 to 3 run in the late stages of the first in building a double digit advantage.
Coach Paige Adams said her team was determined to neutralize Falkville sophomore SG Leah Pierce.
Pierce made a name for herself in the Blue Devils 50 to 44 semifinal victory over Winston County last Thursday by scoring 36 points, 16 in the final period.
Adams said the sophomore had shown out in the last meeting against Cold Springs, ripping the cords for 28 points. But Cold Springs was superior from the team aspect and won that game 58 to 41.
Dickerson got her 2nd foul at 1:55 of the 1st with the Lady Eagles ahead 12 to 6. A 5 to 1 run the rest of the period set the tone for the Lady Eagles to move the lead to 27 to 11 by halftime and 39 to 16 following play in the 3rd.
Dickerson, the senior who was named the Bryant Jordan Scholar Athlete Region 6 winner the day before, showed a great outing on the floor with 19 points on 9 FGs, 1 trey, 8 coming in the final half.
Good scoring from the backcourt by Whitlow with 10 and Addison with 9 showed balance with the Lady Eagles beating the Blue Devils for the 3rd time this season.

Falkville is coached by former Cold Springs standout Bailey West Boland in her first season.
Pierce managed 2 FGs in the contest with her only 3 pointer coming with 15 seconds remaining in the game.

She scored on their first possession to give them a 2 to 0 lead prior to Cold Springs showing balance with 4 in the scoring frame after the first 8:00 of play.
