GDW Analysis:
Not playing since last Saturday, the Lady Warriors overwhelmed Hayden with a 56 to 0 lead at halftime.
Coach John Welborn had 9 to get into the scoring column.
A huge night for SG Camryn Faulkner as she now has 1,000 points in her West Point career.
This accomplishment comes for her after her sister Jaelyn reached this feat December 13 in victory over Deshler from Decatur Heritage Christian Academy.
The Lady Warriors are the hottest team locally with 13 in a row.
In December, the Lady Warriors have scored 352 points through 6 games, averaging 58.8. The lowest they have scored was 61 in a win at Jasper December 8.
The highest has come from Friday with 83 vs. Hayden, 56 through the first half.
West Point Warriors could not contain a talented Hayden team as Hyatt and Martin controlled the paint with 15 made FGs between them.
Woodard buried the Warriors by scoring 6 treys, 4 in the final half.
Chapman again played solid for Mason Voce with a December high of 32 points, 22 in the 2nd half.
Shelton provided 7 FGs, 2 treys but a problem for the Warriors was not enough scoring from the perimeter.
West Point managed to get 2 treys, both by Shelton with the guard play accounting for 3 FGs in 32:00 of play.
The Warriors lost for the first time since they were defeated at Cold Springs 58 to 43 December 5.
