Braves are playing worthy baseball despite a bad season:

Snitker now with 800 wins in a good career as Braves' manager:

GDW Analysis:
ATLANTA: Brian Snitker has earned great recognition for now having 800 victories as the manager of "The Atlanta Braves."
The Braves have been located in Atlanta since 1966. Snit entered the major role in 2016 and the Braves have been solid ever since.
Unfortunately in 2025, injuries have stormed through the ball club with the pitching staff being hurt the most.

However, after the Braves defeated the Chicago Cubs 4 to 1 Monday evening at Truist Park, celebration took place as this honor was earned.
The Braves won 15 of their final 24 games in August and also avoided getting swept recently when they took the final game of the series with the Phillies in Philadelphia and the Cubs in Wrigley Field.
A total of 18 games remain for the Braves in 2025 as they will be out of the postseason for the first time since the 2017 season.
Now that Snit has embarked on an impressive number, does he decide to say goodbye when the season closes out in late September?
He has proved his point. This year has been very unusual for the Braves looking like they were in a regular episode of "MASH" for personnel unable to maintain quality health conditions.
Good example is lefty Chris Sale. Two good stints in coming back from the DL, averaging 9 strikeouts around 6 innings.
Sale will get the nod to close out the series with the Cubs Wednesday evening.
As a Braves' fan, yours truly loves the structure of the everyday lineup they have currently.
Matt Olson, Ronald Acuna Jr, Ozzie Albies, Michael Harris II have been steady through the entire season.

Drake Baldwin is certainly a pleasantry as he is very much a candidate for NL Rookie of the Year.
Then having Jurickson Profar and Nacho Alverez make plays regularly and now they have given Ha-Seong Kim a chance to play shortstop every day and good efforts they have received too from Eli White and Nick Allen.
Injuries have been vital to Sean Murphy and Austin Riley for they make the team much more solid at the plate and on the field.
The major question seen by yours truly for the future is Marcel Ozuna.
What is he in trade value if the Braves decide to send him elsewhere. Only a .220 hitter, Ozuna has 20 HRs, 62 RBIs, but has struck out 127 times and a .353 on base percentage.
They need to evaluate the pitching staff on how to maintain a healthy group. That would be with very good medical advice and adjustments to be certainly made for these people to be able to pitch, now just sitting in the dugout having a hot dog or two.
Spencer Strider is playing hard, but not at the essence of being completely healthy.
Sale is showing he can still bring it and hopefully to make maybe three more starts and be strong with be positive for the future.
Bryce Elder made a good point on how he performed Monday to be the winning pitcher for Snit's 800th victory.
A good rookie season by Hurston Waldrep since he joined the team in August is for certain, he has a spot on the regular rotation for 2026.
It will be sad for the first time since 2017 there will be no playoff baseball on 92.1 FM.
Flash's attention to the playoffs will be there, but not to full extreme for the Braves not part of the National League excitement.
What would be wonderful for Flash and Braves' fans is to see the New York Mets collapse and not be a wild card qualifier.
With nothing to lose, the Braves should take a  positive approach of go out for the rest of the 2025 season and treat it as their version of a postseason.
