GDW Analysis:
Cold Springs displayed a patient approach in this area game Thursday evening.
A slight lead through the first period was turned into total domination by Paige Adams' Lady Eagles by a 20 to 2 surge on the scoreboard and a 33 to 9 lead at halftime.
Good scoring off the bench by Addison with 2 treys and 5 from Calvert enabled the starting lineup to shake off a sluggish start and become productive in the 2nd period.
Whitlow knocked down 2 treys in the 2nd and Dickerson scored 5 of her 7 in the stanza too.
The top scorer for the Lady Eagles handled the scoring in the 3rd with 2 treys and a pair from the FT line.
Cold Springs went up 41 to 18 and broke the game open by an 18 to 10 tally in the final 8:00.
This allowed the Lady Eagles to close out the week with 3 victories in 3 assignments.
Cold Springs had won on Monday at home against Hanceville 50 to 41, routed Cordova on the road Tuesday 67 to 26 and the romp of Winston County Thursday evening.
The Lady Eagles are 9th in the current 2A poll and take a 4 game winning streak into next week.
