 Flash Facts:
Cold Springs once again not able to be a 3 & 0 football team. Susan Moore kept the Eagles from that feat last week in Blount County.
The Eagles were down 28 to 22 to Susan Moore at the half and trailed 52 to 38 entering the 4th quarter.
Cold Springs' 2 wins have come against Hanceville and Curry who have a combined record of 2 & 4.
Already this season, the Eagles have enjoyed victory twice at Stricklin Stadium after they did not win a contest there last year.
Cold Springs was very superior with the Panthers last season in a driving rainstorm September 13 at Cleveland.
A 46 to 0 victory was the Eagles' lone shutout triumph in 2024 play.
Through the first 4 weeks of the last three seasons with Voce leading the way, Cold Springs has gone 7 & 5.
The Eagles have not claimed back to back victories with Cleveland since 2004 & 2005.
In winning last year in Cleveland, the Eagles ended an 8 game losing streak to the Panthers.
Voce knows the Panthers will be ready after what they experienced last year under inclement weather and on the home field.
Momentum is very much needed for the Eagles as after the Cleveland game, they will have back to back non regional games with a 2 & 1 Winston County squad and a 1 & 2 Lynn team on the road.
