Cullman County schools on 2 hour delay for Monday:

After school activities uncertain for Monday and also Tuesday:

GDW Analysis:
Cullman County Schools will operate on Monday by a 2 hour delay, according to a statement from the communication department.
With severe weather very possible for Sunday evening and into the overnight, the CCBOE announced this to the public Sunday at 3:50 p.m. CST.
As for extracurricular activities, nothing has been posted on whether spring sports will be played March 16.
A wind advisory is in affect for Cullman County and the Tennessee Valley until 7:00 a.m. Monday.
The current spring sports schedule for Monday:
BB: Locust Fork at Hanceville 4:30
BB: JB Pennington at Holly Pond 4:30
SB: Cold Springs at Meek 4:30
 SB: Oakman at Good Hope 4:30

 SB: Locust Fork at Holly Pond 4:30

 The baseball assignments are AHSAA 3A Area 11 play. Locust Fork at Holly Pond SB is also an area assignment.

 As of 4:00 p.m. Sunday, nothing has been reported from the Cullman City Schools system on if they will start on time or delay like the county schools.
Other school systems from neighboring areas have followed the same plan for a 2 hour delay.
Spring sports in the Cullman City system for Monday has Cullman soccer at home vs. Mortimer Jordan.
Lady Bearcats are to play at 5:00 p.m.
Bearcats and Blue Devils scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
