GDW Analysis:
Cullman's chaotic tempo wore down Chelsea Tuesday afternoon in the Bearcats' finale from the Border Wars Classic after Chelsea hung with the 'Cats through the first stanza, trailing 23 to 22.
Half a dozen Bearcats put their name into the scorebook in the 2nd for coach Stu Stuedeman with Chelsea having 7 points on 2 FGs, a trey and was 0 of 4 from the line.
With 8 points to his total by halftime, Dorough made it happen with 18 in the final 16:00, accounting for 7 FGs, 3 treys and a FT.
An exciting play for Dorough was a third period slam that pushed the Bearcat advantage to 56 to 39.
Cullman collected 4 long range FGs in the final period, having 10 in the contest.
The 'Cats were coming off a 67 to 59 triumph against Hewitt Trussville the day before with Hopper having 16 to ignite a balanced attack.
Cullman has enjoyed 16 victories in 18 games in the first part of the 2025/26 schedule.
The 'Cats went 8 & 2 in their December assignments, going into January with a 3 game winning streak.
