Russellville 130 points scored, 82 allowed

In the region, the Aggies have defeated West Point 42 to 14, Ardmore 42 to 7 and Lawrence County 55 to 6.

George Redding 19th year at Fairview, 132 & 70.
Redding is tied with Mark Smothers in all time wins as a coach in county football.
Fairview is 62 & 14 since 2019. Aggies have won 12 straight regular season games at Dafford Smith Stadium.
Russellville is the last team to defeat the Aggies in regular season play, a 41 to 14 victory in late October of 2022.

At stake:
Winner stays on top of the regional standings.
Another key regional game Friday is West Point (1 & 1) at Priceville (2 & 0).
Both teams still have a game with Priceville. Fairview faces the Bulldogs October 10 with Russellville taking them on October 24.
Russellville has West Point in a home game on the 17th.

This brief series has become a strong rivalry with the winner being victorious on the road in three of the four matchups.
Fairview was a 35 to 21 winner at Russellville in the 2nd round of the AHSAA 5A playoffs in 2021. That was Redding's 100th victory with his alma mater.
Fairview's shootout last year was at Golden Tiger Stadium, a game that would be the difference for the Aggies to win the regional title and Russellville to take 2nd best.
