Flash Facts from 2nd round of AHSAA playoffs:

* Good Hope Raiders and Fairview Aggies are back in the Elite 8 of the AHSAA playoffs for the first time since 2021.
* Good Hope has defeated West Morgan twice in the postseason. Raiders beat the Rebels 25 to 22 in 1st round in 1996 and the 31 to 7 victory in Round 2 of the 2025 playoffs.
* Fairview Aggies have accomplished double digit winning seasons four times since 2020. Last 2 years the Aggies are 22 & 1.
* Fairview and Good Hope were joined by the following who got a 2nd round playoff victory on the road. Southeastern, Deshler, Wadley, Moody, Mt. Brook.
* Undefeated teams out of the playoffs after 2nd round - West Morgan, Appalachian, Hamilton.
* Good Hope holds West Morgan to its lowest total in one game this season, 7. The Rebels were averaging 41 points prior to the 31 to 7 loss in the 2nd round vs. Good Hope.
* First time win for Fairview Aggies in playing Jacksonville. Aggies earn a 28 to 13 victory.
* Addison Bulldogs back to high standard winning. The Bulldogs 39 to 6 triumph against Berry has them at 11 & 1, the most wins in one season since they posted 10 wins in 2018.
* Cullman County has 2 teams into the Elite 8 of the playoffs. Blount Co has 1 with Southeastern, Winston Co 1 with Addison.
All teams in Morgan, Marshall and Walker County are done with the football season.
* Fairview is 60 & 11 since 2020.
* Good Hope is 8 & 6 in the playoffs under Alan Scott, the best in school history.
* Fairview is the only team from 5A, Region 7 still in the 2025 playoffs.

 * Good Hope is the only team from 4A, Region 5 still in the 2025 playoffs.
* Heading into the Elite 8 of the playoffs, Fairview is 6 & 0 at Dafford Smith Stadium, Good Hope is 6 & 0 at James Shabel Stadium.
