Flash Facts from Week 10 of local football season:
* Fairview Aggies claim 2nd straight 5A, Region 7 title. Aggies 12 & 0 in this region last 2 years.
* Good Hope's 35 to 15 victory over Dora is the Raiders' 4th win vs. Dora in the last 5 meetings.
* Cullman scores a 22 to 19 victory at Buckhorn and finishes 4 & 1 in the 2nd half after an 0 & 5 start for new coach Trent Walker.
* West Point defeats Ardmore 25 to 20 to take the 4th seed in 5A, Region 7 and qualify for the AHSAA playoffs. West Point is 3 & 1 at home this season.
* Vinemont completes the regular season 6 & 4 and 5 & 2 in 3A, Region 5. The Eagles are 3rd in the region and will be in the playoffs for the 6th straight year under Stephen Robinson.
* Fairview has a 10 game winning streak on the road. Aggies 5 & 0 away from home this season and were 5 & 0 as a road squad last year.
* Good Hope coach Alan Scott tied for 4th in all time county wins with Dafford Smith at 89. Scott has 71 in 11 years with Good Hope and 18 in 4 years he coached at Vinemont.
* West Point goes 2 & 0 vs. Limestone County schools this season. A 14 to 6 victory over East Limestone October 10 and a 25 to 20 triumph vs. Ardmore on the 24th. WP is 15 & 9 all time vs. the Limestone County school system.
* Cullman a hot ball club in the 2nd half along with Fairview and Good Hope. The Bearcats were 4 & 1 from September 26 to this past Friday.
Fairview is 5 & 0 in the same span and Good Hope 4 & 1.
