SEC football, you've got to love it:

Road teams go 6 & 1 on another great day for SEC football:

Flash Thoughts:
Southeastern Conference football has such an appeal for it to be admired and loved from one Saturday to the next.
The conference that stands out against the Big Ten, Big XII, ACC and American Athletic, presents entertaining football that takes the breath away of fans and media alike.
From the October 25 schedule, six of the seven games were a victory by the visitor.
Vanderbilt was the only squad to win on its own turf and survived it by the difference of a mere yard.
Dramatic results came courtesy of Ole Miss at Oklahoma, Alabama at South Carolina, Texas at Mississippi State.
Texas A&M forgot about LSU's nighttime presence in Tiger Stadium by running them off their field 35 to 7 in the 2nd half.

Even Auburn was able to finally see victory in a conference game thanks to the leg of Alex McPherson with 6 field goals a key for the Tigers to get by Arkansas 33 to 24.
And for upstart Vanderbilt, the Commodores walk off the field by a 17 to 10 final over Missouri as the last play of the game for Mizzou left them out of time and short of a tie from the one yard line.
Back to back weekends in SEC football with 15 games on tap for October 18 and the 25th says a great deal on the quality the league is from the top to the bottom.
Alabama and Texas A&M will enter the November segment of the conference standings on top at 5 & 0.
Not far behind is Georgia and Ole Miss 4 & 1, Vanderbilt and Texas 3 & 1 then Tennessee 3 & 2, Oklahoma, Missouri and Florida 2 & 2.
LSU is on life support at 2 & 3 in the SEC. The bottom teer of the league features Auburn 1 & 4, South Carolina 1 & 5, Mississippi State and Arkansas 0 & 4 and Kentucky winless in 5 SEC games.

Conference play continues to be the headline with six games to be a part of the 1st Saturday in November.
The following will receive plenty of attention for they will have an impact in the quest of contending for a chance to play in the SEC championship game and to possibly be included in the college football playoff format.
South Carolina journeys to Ole Miss, Oklahoma is at Tennessee, the latest in the unofficial Outdoor Cocktail Party with Georgia & Florida playing in Jacksonville.
For the main course of SEC play this coming Saturday, upstart Vanderbilt in a trip to Texas where the Longhorns have gone through back to back OT survivals against Kentucky & Mississippi State.
Now with Auburn, the Tigers get Kentucky in prime time from Pat Dye Field/Jordan Hare Stadium. Auburn is 4 & 4 as the Tigers seek the opportunity to become bowl eligible in the stretch run of the 2025 season.
Alabama is idle for this week. The Tide that came alive in the 4th quarter against South Carolina, can breath a sigh of relief and start their gameplan with LSU visiting them November 8.
The numbers don't lie where the teams are in the standings and one month left to play it out where the stakes are very high and will remain that way until the regular season ends on Thanksgiving weekend.
