Fairview, Hanceville, Holly Pond, Vinemont heading to AHSAA BB playoffs:
GDW Analysis:
Four teams locally have earned their opportunity to participate in the 2024 AHSAA
baseball playoffs.
Each finished 2nd in their respective class in area play.
The playoff series will begin this weekend with a doubleheader on Friday and an if
necessary game for Saturday. The series is the best of 3.
Vinemont Eagles have 18 wins and will be at Gordo, Fairview has compiled 19 wins and
will be going to Madison Academy for Round 1.
Hanceville Bulldogs took two of three from Good Hope to get a trip to the 4A postseason.
The Bulldogs are at Brooks in the Florence area.
Holly Pond is on its way this weekend to North Sand Mountain for a series with the
Bison in Round 1.
