Cold Springs and Vinemont win on the road, GH plays well at home:

GDW Analysis:
Winning streaks were kept going Friday evening by the Cold Springs Eagles, Good Hope Raiders and Vinemont Eagles.
Cold Springs defeated Winston County 44 to 18 in Double Springs and are 4 & 1 with their first victory on the road this season.
The Eagles snapped a 6 game losing streak to Winston County. The 4 & 1 start for the Eagles is their best under coach Brendan Voce.
Good Hope enjoyed a 34 to 6 victory at James Shabel Stadium in 4A, Region 5 against Cordova.
Cordova got a TD in the 3rd quarter in becoming the first to score on the Raiders since their season opener August 29 with West Point.
Alan Scott's Raiders are 4 & 0 and have won 13 of their last 14 regular season games. The No. 6 team in 4A is 3 & 0 in Region 5.
Vinemont celebrated a solid performance in Walker County beating Carbon Hill 38 to 6.
After losing to Falkville and Southeastern the first two games of 2025, Stephen Robinson's Eagles have posted three straight in 3A, Region 5 play.
The Vinemont vs. Carbon Hill series began in 2000 as Carbon Hill won 27 to 26.
Since then, Vinemont has claimed 11 straight victories over the Bulldogs and has never lost at Carbon Hill in six decisions.
Other scores:
Muscle Shoals 42 to 0 over Cullman: Bearcats fell to 0 & 5 and 0 & 3 in 6A, Region 7. This was the first time for new coach Trent Walker the Bearcats did not score.
Muscle Shoals is 4th in the 6A poll and has posted back to back shutouts in Region 7 against Decatur 66 and Cullman.
Geraldine 45, Holly Pond 6: No 4 Geraldine came to Thomas/Michelfelder Field and ended Holly Pond's momentum in 3A, Region 8.
The Broncos dropped to 2 & 1 in the region and 3 & 2 for the season.

 Oakman defeated Hanceville 52 to 13: Hanceville trailed 21 to 0 after the first and 48 to 6 by halftime in Walker County.
The Bulldogs are 0 & 5 and 0 & 3 in 3A, Region 5.
West Point was idle this week. The Warriors went into their bye week 2 & 2 and 1 & 1 in 5A, Region 7.

Cullman (0 & 5) at Brewer (1 & 3)
Hayden at West Point (2 & 2)
