For the 2nd straight year, Holly Pond unloads on county rival Hanceville.
The Broncos tallied 74 vs. Hanceville in 2024 and followed it this season in spoiling the Bulldogs' opener from Ray Talley Stadium.
Holly Pond has a 1 & 1 record, Hanceville falls to 0 & 2.
Mortimer Jordan 21, Cullman 20:
Mortimer Jordan got a 14 to 0 lead on the Bearcats by halftime and held on to drop the 'Cats to 0 & 2 under new coach Trent Walker.
Southeastern 34, Vinemont 14:
The Mustangs came from Remlap in Blount County, playing at Vinemont for the first time.
SE led 22 to 14 at the half and 2 TDs in the 2nd half gave the Mustangs breathing room to drop Vinemont o 0 & 2.
