  An outstanding season of local girls basketball covered by Gameday Weekly and aired on WKUL FM (92.1) is now looked upon for superb performances.
The GDW All Performance team is presented for its viewing pleasure.
Based on performing in front of GDW and WKUL all season, these are the best by position.
GDW All Performance 1st team:

 GDW co players of the year:
Reagan Robinson of Vinemont
Ella Dickerson of Cold Springs
Robinson leaves Vinemont as its all time leading scorer with 1,950 points, scoring well over 400 in her final season. She is part of a program that earned 44 wins her last 2 years out of 62 games and got to the Sweet 16 of the AHSAA playoffs for the first time since 2005.
Dickerson was chosen the Bill Shelton winner by the Cullman County coaches as well as the Northwest Regional 2A MVP and all state in her class.
Dickerson produced better than 20 points per postseason scoring 28 in the regional final against Belgreen and 22 in the state semifinal over Lanett.
Co coaches of the year:
Paige Adams of Cold Springs
Justin Aby of Good Hope
Adams was sound in her first season replacing Tammy West with a strong postseason run that got the Lady Eagles to the 2A state championship. Cold Springs finished 23 & 10 and was 10th in the final 2A state poll.
Aby steered the Lady Raiders to the 4A final for the 3rd straight year, winning it a 2nd team in knocking off No. 1 Plainview 59 to 54 on March 6 at Legacy Arena.
Good Hope ends the season with 30 wins against 6 losses. The Lady Raiders have claimed 3 consecutive Northwest Regional titles in this span and have 1 postseason loss in the last 3 years.
County game of the year:
Vinemont over Good Hope 61 to 59 January 12. Vinemont pulled off a huge victory at the Pinnacle to go into the Cullman County tournament as the No. 2 seed and drop Good Hope to No. 3.
Non county game of the year:
Fairview over Austin 79 to 69 December 18 at Joe Shults Gymnasium. The Lady Aggies went to war with the 7A school from Decatur by using good FT shooting to claim victory.
Center Kailyn Redding went 13 of 14 from the stripe and finished with an impressive 23 point outing as Fairview took momentum into the Christmas holidays.
Playoff game of the year:
Good Hope over Plainview 59 to 54 March 6 in 4A championship at Legacy Arena in Birmingham.
No. 4 Good Hope showed poise against No. 1 Plainview in the winner take all match that enabled the Lady Raiders to grab their 2nd state title in this class in the last 3 years.
Ella Davis led a solid group on the floor by being selected the Final Four MVP. She was joined on the all tournament team by PG Ella Gossett and WG Sophie Konrad.
