GOOD HOPE: With the forecast for stormy weather on Friday, Good Hope High School is moving its AHSAA 4A state playoff game vs. Cherokee County to Thursday evening.
Gameday Weekly was informed of this Tuesday morning when receiving a text message from coach Alan Scott.

Alan Scott is in his 11th year at Good Hope with a record of 71 & 51.
His all time record is 15 years, 89 & 74.
Scott is tied for 4th in all time wins in Cullman County schools football with Dafford Smith.
The Raiders are in the playoffs with Scott for the 7th time in the last 8 years.
This is the first time the Raiders take on Cherokee Co in postseason play.
Cherokee Co is in the postseason for the 6th consecutive year.
Cherokee Co comes in with a scoring average of 28.4 points a game. Good Hope is averaging 34 points per game with the Raider defense allow the opponents 10.6 a contest.
