Good Hope wins a thriller against Danville to move on to next round:

GDW Analysis:
TRINITY: Good Hope volleyball survived a long day on the court Wednesday in the AHSAA Class 4A, Area 13 tournament at West Morgan High School.
The Lady Raiders outlasted Danville 3 games to 2 that gets them qualified for the North Regional next week to be at the Finley Center in Hoover.
West Morgan defeated the Lady Raiders in the title round by 3 games to 1.
It was a long time for top seed West Morgan too. The Lady Rebels were pushed to 5 sets with 4 seed East Lawrence to get the area event off and running.
For Good Hope, the semis with Danville started slow as they lost the opening set 25 to 21. The Lady Raiders then went to work and tied the match by a 25 to 19 score in Game 2 and went ahead on a 25 to 22 triumph in the 3rd set.

 Danville evened the numbers by claiming the 4th game 25 to 19.
In the tiebreaker, Natasha Holder's Lady Raiders soared to the lead and went on to finish off Danville 15 to 7.
Good Hope won the 2nd set in the championship over West Morgan before the tournament host took down the title in 4 games, wrapping it up by a 25 to 16 final.
This area tournament consisted of three assignments, 14 games total and a long day of entertaining volleyball in Morgan County.

 Elsewhere:
Cold Springs was defeated 3 to 0 by Falkville in the semifinal round of 2A, Area 11 from Winston County High School.
Fairview fell to Arab 3 games to 0 in the 5A, Area 14 tournament in Guntersville.
