Hartselle Tigers claim Thursday night victory against Cullman:

Bearcats fall to 0 & 4 in 6A, Region 7 with loss to No. 4 ranked Hartselle:

GDW Analysis:
HARTSELLE: Hartselle Tigers were battled hard by the Cullman Bearcats Thursday evening in 6A, Region 7 play from JP Cain Stadium.
Hartselle was only ahead 7 to 0 at halftime in a game when many thought the No. 4 team in Class 6A would romp over their long time rival.
The Tigers would extend the lead with three scores in the second half and post a 24 to 0 victory.
That sends Hartselle to 3 & 0 in the region and 6 & 0 for the season.
The Tigers have two shutouts on the season and have allowed 30 points in six games.
Cullman dropped to 1 & 6 overall and is 0 & 4 for regional play.
The 'Cats have been eliminated from the possibility of making the playoffs in their first season with Trent Walker.
Cullman will be taking on Columbia next Friday from Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville.
