Hoop Seen hoops gets seen by Gameday Weekly:
Fifty five teams in 7 divisions at the new Omniplex for weekend hoops:

GDW Analysis:
With the new Omniplex in Cullman approximately a month old in its operation, the facility was busy during the weekend with an organization based out of the Atlanta area called Hoop Seen.
Hoop Seen presented the Bama Cup, an event that consisted of 55 teams from seven different grade divisions.
Gameday Weekly caught some of the action on Saturday and Sunday with travel basketball at its best.
The popular groups were the 11th grade with 12 teams, the 10th grade 12 teams and the 9th grade 13 teams.
Girls competition consisted of high school having four teams to play and three in the middle school division.
One group that gained GDW's attention Sunday played in the 7th grade.
The North Alabama Storm is made up of several that play at Cullman Middle School.
The Storm stormed by Game Elite Blue Sunday morning 57 to 35 before they were defeated by Alpha Elite in a semifinal 63 to 43.
Alpha Elite had the shot of the game, one right at midcourt as time expired for the half, giving them a 29 to 27 advantage.
A game in the 11th grade experienced something very unusual.
The North Alabama Lakers were playing Iron City on Court 1 when the game got delayed.
The reason was an ice chest that was on the baseline by the basket facing the East side of the facility spilled.
Water and ice could been seen covering the baseline but never getting on to the floor.
It prompted the organizers to move this game from Court 1 and finish it on Court 8. Court 8 was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
This game was very intense between both teams as a few technical fouls were accessed.
It would be decided in sudden death after an Iron City player fouled a Laker shooter, who was attempting a 3 pointer.
The Laker made the first attempt and his team won 60 to 59.
Seeing the high school girls division, a team called the Madison City Magic was clicking from the team phase.
The Magic went 2 & 0 in pool play Saturday and had a 31 to 17 victory in the semifinals Sunday morning against Team Tenacious.
One player GDW knew from seeing her play the past season with Ardmore High School is Kylee Osborne.
The junior is a wing player and also positioning herself on the low post in their defensive setup.
Her mother, Jill Clark, played for yours truly with his North Central Alabama team in the early 1990s.
Clark will be inducted into the Limestone County Sports Hall of Fame in June. Clark averaged 21.7 points a game, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists in her senior season with Ardmore in 1993.
GDW watched Gray Hooper of the Cullman Bearcats perform Sunday morning for the Magic City Jayhawks.
The Jayhawks got off to a good start in a game with North Alabama Lakers, leading 41 to 32 at the half.
The Lakers got more physical on defense in the 2nd half and outside shooting carried them by the Jayhawks 81 to 71.
Hooper was a member of the GDW all performance team as Cullman posted 22 wins in the previous season and champions of 6A, Area 13.
Omniplex employee Dylan Finch, who is also an assistant with the Cullman Bearcats, told GDW a huge gathering of teams will be at the facility next weekend.
The Nike EYBL is to have better than 100 teams to endure the beautiful new complex.
