GDW Analysis:
A flurry of coaching changes at half a dozen schools covered by Gameday Weekly have taken place since Wednesday.
Cullman High School hired Drew Bryson to take over the softball program. Bryson, a Cullman graduate, coached baseball at West Point High School for 7 years.
West Point has filled Bryson's vacancy. West Point promoted assistant coach Tyler Morgan to lead the Warriors in 2026.
Morgan has been a part of West Point baseball for 8 years.
Tammy West is not the only member of her family to move to another school to coach girls basketball.
On Wednesday, her 2nd daughter Bailey West Boland, was hired by Falkville High School.
Boland moves to Falkville after directing the Addison Lady Bulldogs for 5 years.
The Falkville position was vacant after Jonathan Lacy recently accepted an offer to coach girls basketball at nearby Brewer High School in Morgan County.
Hanceville High School now has a new leader for Lady Bulldogs' basketball.
Garrett Cone was named head coach on Wednesday. Cone was at Hanceville Middle School last year, coaching basketball.

In the town of Moulton, a change in leading the Lady Red Devils' basketball squad has been reported to GDW by a reliable source.
Jenna Walker, a standout player at Priceville High School, replaces JC Orr after he coached the Lawrence County program for 7 years.
Walker followed up her prep career at Priceville playing at Murray State University before injuries forced her to go into retirement.
Walker will be one of the youngest coaches in the sport at the age of 22. She graduated from Priceville in 2021.
