It will not be necessary for the Cullman County Board of Education (CCBOE) to conduct coin flips Tuesday for the pairings of this year's county basketball tournament are now officially set.
Games were played Monday between Good Hope & Vinemont to close out the required 6 game schedule for each team in varsity, girls, JV and JV girls play.
From Monday at Vinemont, Good Hope won the JV game 44 to 27 and will be the 3 seed in its division.
The Vinemont Lady Eagles claimed a 61 to 59 victory that secured them the No. 2 seed.
Good Hope Raiders enjoyed a 64 to 63 OT victory at the Pinnacle that sends them into the tournament seeded 5th.
JV:
West Point is 1st, Fairview 2nd, Good Hope 3rd, Vinemont 4th, Cold Springs 5th, Holly Pond 6th and Hanceville 7th.
On Saturday at Wallace State, Vinemont vs. Cold Springs at 1:15, Good Hope vs. Holly Pond at 3:45 and Fairview vs. Hanceville at 6:15 p.m.
