For the final Friday of September, local football displayed perfection.

The Warriors went from a 7 to 6 lead after the first to moving ahead of Hayden 21 to 6 at the half.
West Point put the game out of reach with three touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
The Warriors are 3 & 2 and have won 2 straight for 2nd year coach Kevin McCrary.
Vinemont 28, West End 0:
September was a good month for Vinemont football with the Eagles going 4 & 0 after starting the 2025 schedule with losses to Falkville and Southeastern.
Homecoming festivities were happy on Friday evening with the Eagles having a 14 to 0 advantage on West End at the break.
A TD in the 3rd and a score in the 4th and a stout defense allowed Vinemont to earn a shutout victory for the first time this season.

Playing in Winston County territory for the 2nd game in a row, Cold Springs took care of business in beating Lynn to take a 5 & 1 record into the October portion of the schedule.
