Good Hope prevails over Addison to stay undefeated:

Good Hope now 5 & 0, Addison falls for the first time in 2025 football:

GDW Analysis:
ADDISON: Going into Friday's game, new Addison football coach Mark Hastings was pleased with this team being 5 & 0 and ranked 5th in the 1A prep poll.
His concern was about the Bulldogs' efficiency.
Addison had dominated its opposition, but also engaged a series of mistakes with Hastings hoping the squad could work through them.
Unfortunately, Addison was mistake prone and Good Hope took advantage of it, romping to a 41 to 6 victory at AG Hicks Stadium in the Gameday Weekly Game of the Week.
The misfortunate came into play early and would emerge at a larger number by the 2nd quarter,
Two punts that accounted for a total of 14 yards hurt the Bulldogs for giving Good Hope field position to turn a 6 to 0 lead into a 21 to 0 advantage by halftime.
Good Hope dominated the third quarter with 167 yards of offense to 13 for Addison.
A 35 to 0 lead the Raiders endured heading into the final stanza.
Mason Drake would net 103 yards rushing through the third and scored four times.
A 39 yard run to the end zone was the first of the evening for the senior runner. He tallied a pair in the third with the Raiders having long scoring drives of 75 and 88 yards.

Alan Scott's Raiders finished with 393 yards offense, 265 by the run and 128 passing to go with 20 first downs.
Parker Johnson tossed a 27 yard score to Carter Rutherford in the 2nd and an 8 yard run to the end zone by Karson Hollis came after Hollis rambled 35 yards to get the Raiders close to the Addison goal early in the 4th.
Good Hope's defense was solid in allowing Addison just 5 first downs, 26 yards rushing.
The Bulldogs did show positive in the passing attack as Elijah Roberts tallied 160 yards on 10 completions and a 28 yard TD to Conner Lane with 3:08 remaining to get on the scoreboard.
The Raiders have given up just three touchdowns in 15 quarters of the 2025 season.
Addison was the 2nd team to score on the Raiders in the 2nd half. Cordova did it last week with a 3rd period score.
The Raiders are allowing over 5 points a game, the best in the county.
For Scott, this was career win 86, 68 with Good Hope in his 11th season coaching the Raiders.
Scott is tied for 5th place all time in county coaches in wins with former Good Hope mentor Billy Joe Pugh.
Good Hope gets back to the 4A, Region 5 schedule next Friday vs. the Curry Yellow Jackets from James Shabel Stadium.
