West Point 60, Lawrence County 24:
MOULTON: West Point's winning streak is at 20 games after the No. 4 Lady Warriors ran away from Lawrence County. A 14 to 0 2nd period enabled West Point to build a 29 to 9 lead after halftime.
West Point is 3 & 0 in 5A, Area 15 in sweeping the Red Devis in the span of a week.
Camryn Faulkner scored 14, Laklin Shadix 13, Jaelyn Faulkner 12, Kealie Harbison 11 for the 20 & 1 Lady Warriors. LC fell to 9 & 12 and 0 & 3 in the area.
Vinemont 62. Holly Pond 50:
VINEMONT: For the 2nd consecutive year, the Lady Eagles are regular season champions in 3A, Area 11.
After pulling off a 61 to 59 victory Monday at the Pinnacle against Good Hope, the Lady Eagles were able to maintain momentum in their conquest of rival Holly Pond.
Vinemont finishes 7 & 1 in the area schedule and has 15 wins in 23 games. Emily Willoughby's Lady Eagles have 4 victories in 5 games in a span of being on the hardwood January 5 to January 13.
Good Hope 61, East Lawrence 38:
GOOD HOPE: Getting back to the winning side after a tough loss Monday with Vinemont, Good Hope moved to 5 & 0 in 4A, Area 13 by prevailing against area foe East Lawrence.
Good Hope has a 17 & 4 record in looking to close out the area schedule Thursday at home vs. West Morgan.
Justin Aby's Lady Raiders are ranked 2nd in the current 4A state poll.
Jasper 53, Cullman 37:
JASPER: In a battle for 1st place in 6A, Area 13, Jasper was superior from the beginning against Cullman. The Lady Vikings went ahead 19 to 7 after the first, 29 to 16 at the half and 45 to 25 following the 3rd period.
Cullman fell to 16 & 5 and 1 & 1 in area play under 1st year coach Tammy West. Jasper is 17 & 5 and 2 & 0 in the area standings.
Locust Fork 46, Hanceville 44:
HANCEVILLE: Locust Fork paid a visit to Lane Horton Gym Tuesday, claiming a close victory in 3A, Area 11 against the Hanceville Lady Bulldogs.
Locust Fork is 5 & 3 in the area, currently 2nd in the standings to Vinemont (7 & 1) and a game ahead of Holly Pond (4 & 3).
Hanceville dropped to 1 & 6 in the area.
Russellville 66, Fairview 52:
RUSSELLVILLE: Fairview could not handle Russellville's superb play on the road Tuesday in a non area game vs. 5A programs.
Fairview has lost 4 in a row and is 11 & 10 for the 2025/26 season.
Russellville will look to use momentum from the win against Fairview when the Golden Tigers visit West Point Friday for a battle in AHSAA 5A, Area 15.
Cold Springs 57, Dora 51:
DORA: A short journey into Walker County went well for the Cold Springs Lady Eagles.
The Lady Eagles outlasted Dora and has a 13 & 7 record with first year coach Paige Adams.
The Lady Eagles have a 5 game winning streak and are No. 9 in the current 2A state poll.
